This session is a call to personal examination to remove barriers between ourselves and the Lord, to be unveiled before Him.

Closing Remarks/Ritual

8:15/8:30: Retreat End

...You know what hour it is, how it is full time now for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed; the night is far gone, the day is at hand. Let us then cast off the works of darkness and put on the armour of light.”

(Romans 13:11-12, RSV)

Q: I registered but the password doesn’t seem to work.

A: There are a few reasons you are not being granted access. Please try the following:

  1. Be sure you are using the correct password for the correct page as they are different for the Retreat and the Armoured Series.

  2. If you are copying and pasting the password be sure that there are no spaces highlighted.

  3. Try pressing enter instead of the arrow.

If you have attempted all three and it still does not work email us at arisecatholicmovement@gmail.com

Q: I really enjoyed the retreat, can I share the links with my friends and family?

A: We are so grateful to hear how much you have enjoyed your retreat experience. We have a SPECIAL OFFER just for you! If you would like to host a small group of your own we would love to provide you with all the hostess material you need for FREE! The material will be found on our hostess access page. On the retreat page you will find a link to a form. Once filled out you will immediately be given a link and password to access the hostess page. Please be sure the women you invite register with us as an individual/participant and include your name as hostess. Filling out the form does not obligate you to be a hostess, we just hope that with the information provided it will help you make the decision. We kindly ask that you do not share access with those that have not registered. This retreat was created and produced by volunteers and is paid for by generous sponsorship as well as registrations.

Q: Why do the women in my small group need to register as a participant?

A: Our goal from the very beginning has been to share this retreat with as many women as possible, and we know that only happens because of women like you who so generously give of their time as a hostess. A retreat, as well as a six part video series, of this quality and the scope of reach across the globe comes at a financial cost. We are a group of volunteers that have poured over, as well as prayed over, this project and have done our best to offer both the retreat and series at the lowest price possible. It is only through generous sponsorship and registrations that we are able to cover these costs. Any extra made will go towards future Arise events. We thank you again for joining us in our mission to help others Encounter Jesus Together and Foster Authentic Catholic Community.

Q: Is this only a retreat for groups or can I do it on my own?

A: While the retreat was designed with small groups in mind and has components that are more geared towards a group setting, you can certainly receive many gifts and blessing through journeying through it on your own. We certainly have no idea what God has in store for us until we say yes and enter in to where we are being called. We hope that if you do take this retreat in on your own that God may speak into your heart and bless you in the ways that you need, especially during this time of isolation.

Q: Do I need to do the retreat in just one day?

A: We recommend carving out time and space to enjoy the full day experience; however, we get that life is busy. We also get that you may need some extra time to process. So as an individual participant you are certainly able to design your retreat experience in whatever way suites your needs. All sessions are pre-recorded so that you can play and pause when need be or take in a session a day if you like.

As a small group or parish group we have offered a few schedule options in your Hostess and Parish access pages that outline one day and multiple day retreats.

Q: Do we have to meet in person?

A: While meeting in person would provide a more enhanced experience we also understand restrictions are real and make it impossible in some areas to meet. If you don’t want to wait for restrictions to open up you can definitely meet virtually with a small group to journey through together. We even offer material such as a virtual hostess guide and optional virtual schedules so that you can make the most out of your experience.

The best part of hosting a Virtual Retreat is that you don’t even have to be in the same country to experience the Arise retreat together!

Q: I registered as a participant but would like to be a hostess instead, can I?

A: If you have already registered and would like to host a small group of other registered participants you can email arisecatholicmovement@gmail.com and we can switch your ticket for you, allowing access to the hostess page.

INTRODUCING

A Five Week Follow Up Series

The Arise Catholic Movement is a movement desiring to equip women with the tools and resources that they need to dive deeper in their relationship with Jesus and to support and encourage one another as we grow in our faith. Following the retreat you will receive our 5-week Armoured Series. This series has been specially recorded with speakers like Heather Khym and Christy Dupuis and other members of the Arise Team.

The series provides a short, weekly reflection with journalling questions and questions for discussion so that you can continue to share your faith with other women for weeks after the retreat. We hope this series will help deepen and confirm the messages presented at the retreat.
