For the best retreat experience possible for all those attending we kindly ask the following:
· Please refrain from wearing any fragrance sprays &/or lotions as there may be individuals with sensitivities.
· Please keep cell phones on silent or turned off during the sessions or as much as possible throughout the weekend as it is important to “unplug” in order to fully enter into the retreat. . With that said, we do understand needing to check in on family, so please do so during break times.
· This will be an alcohol free premises for the weekend.
· With 380 women in attendance, we ask that you come with a gracious heart. There may be longer waits for the bathroom and meals so to keep things running smoothly please be mindful of the time you take.
Finally, MOST IMPORTANTLY (if you couldn’t tell by the bold letters) Come with an open heart. There is a reason you are coming and if you are open and ready to receive, God will meet you here and reveal His intentions for your retreat.
Sacraments:
There will be opportunities to receive the sacrament of reconciliation during lunch and in the evening during adoration. ,
Mass is on the schedule on Saturday; however, it will not be a Sunday mass. Please be sure to get to mass Sunday morning. There are two morning Masses at the Cathedral of the Holy Family at 9 & 11 am.
For our nursing mom’s:
· The children’s liturgy room will be set up as a “Mom’s room” . It will be a quiet space for nursing, changing, quiet time, and tables for eating if you need. Our sound crew will pipe sound into the room during sessions so you don’t have to miss anything; however, there will also be chairs at the back of the church for nursing if you would like to remain in the retreat area.
· If you require a playpen, or bouncer we ask that you bring that with you. Playpens can be set up in the “Mom’s Room”.
· There will be limited high chairs in the dining area.
· Please bring snacks/meals for your child. If they need to be warmed we can help you.
Once again we are so excited to see you all, we are praying for each and every one of you.
