Bishop Mark Hagemoen
Welcome and Blessing from Bishop Mark Hagemoen of our partnering Diocese in Saskatoon.
Bishop Mark Hagemoen was born and raised in Vancouver, after completing his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts) at the University of British Columbia, and a year of travel throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe, Mark Hagemoen entered St. Peter’s Seminary in London, Ontario, completing his Masters of Divinity degree in 1990. He was ordained in Vancouver.
He completed the National Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies and the Diploma for Advanced Studies in Ministry in 1997. He earned a Doctor of Ministry program at Trinity Western University, which he completed in 2007.
On October 15, 2013, Pope Francis named Most Rev. Mark Hagemoen as the sixth Bishop of the Diocese of Mackenzie -Fort Smith. He was installed as the eighth Bishop of the Diocese of Saskatoon on November 23, 2017. Bishop Hagemoen currently serves on several committees of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), and here in Saskatoon the boards of Emmanuel Health Saskatchewan, Saskatoon Catholic Schools Foundation, and Sanctum House.
Heather Khym
Heather Khym is an established speaker and worship leader with over 20 years of experience. She attended Franciscan University of Steubenville where she studied Theology with a concentration in Catechetics and met her husband Jake. Currently, Heather speaks on a variety of topics, leads conferences, retreats, women’s ministry and has a new podcast called Abiding Together. Her passion is in evangelization, discipleship, and creating an environment for people to have a personal encounter with God. Visit life restoration for more information.

Debbie Herbeck
Debbie Herbeck has shared with many her personal journey of faith from Judaism to Christianity and subsequent entrance into the Catholic Church. For the past forty years, Debbie Herbeck has worked extensively in youth and women’s ministry, speaking, leading mission trips, and mentoring high school and college age women. She is the founder and executive director of Pine Hills Girls’ Camp. Debbie is the founder and leader of the Be Love Revolution, a ministry that exists to help young women encounter Christ and be His love to all they meet.
She has written Safely Through the Storm, 120 Reflections on Hope and Firmly on the Rock, 120 Reflections on Faith, and Love Never Fails, 120 Reflections on Love. She and her husband Peter have co-authored a book entitled, When the Spirit Speaks, Touched by God’s Word. Debbie is a frequent author and speaker for Blessed is She and contributing writer for Undone: Freeing your Feminine Heart from the Knots of Fear and Shame.
Debbie and her husband Peter live in Ann Arbor, Michigan and have 4 young adult children and 8 small grandchildren.
Mary Bielski
Mary Bielski: National Speaker + Life Coach: As an evangelist, Mary has spoken to over 100,000 adults and youth globally. Rachel Herbeck
Rachel Herbeck is the Regional Director of Chapters for id (Intentional Disciples). She received her BA in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has worked extensively in youth ministry and she speaks to youth and young adults at retreats, conferences, and events in the US and Canada. Rachel is passionate about life issues and has worked for multiple pro-life and political organizations both in Minnesota and Washington, DC. Before joining the id team, she worked for the Minnesota Catholic Conference, where she did outreach and lobbied on behalf of the Catholic Bishops of Minnesota. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Bishop Scott McCaig
Bishop Scott McCaig holds an Undergraduate degree in history from Carleton University, a Bachelor’s degree in sacred theology from the University of St. Paul, and a Master of Divinity degree from the University of Toronto. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1995, serving in numerous capacities. He is the Former General Superior, Companions of the Cross. He was appointed by Pope Francis as Military Ordinary of Canada on April 8, 2016, and ordained to the episcopacy on the Feast of the Visitation, May 31, 2016. Bishop McCaig serves on several boards, has participated in many missionary outreaches, and assists in training missionaries with NET Ministries of Canada. In addition, he is episcopal advisor for the Spiritual Motherhood of Priests Apostolate in Ottawa, serves on the Committee for Ecumenical Dialogue for the Canadian Council of Catholic Bishops, and is liaison to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario.

Christy Dupuis
Christy is a missionary and evangelist at heart. After University, Christy served with Catholic Christian Outreach as a lay missionary. Afterwards she spent several years in parish ministry and ministry consulting. Christy has now returned to CCO as a member of the new CCO Parish and Alumni Team. She also peaks at retreats and conferences and helped launch the Arise Catholic Movement. Christy loves hiking, a good book, adventures with her family, deep conversations with her girlfriends, and a glass of red wine paired with her hubby’s risotto. Her ministry and passion for evangelization is fueled and supported by her family. Christy is married to Dan and together they are raising their four young children whose adventurous spirits keep them both on their toes!
