Do you struggle with a Messiah complex? When are you most prone to “trying to save everyone?”
Specifically, how can you keep your thought life rooted in Jesus Christ; rooted in the remembrance of HIS saving power?
Take some time, right now, to pull out the Gospel of the day. You can use the Living With Christ app, or the Laudate app, or just google: Catholic Daily Readings. Read the scripture verse together at least twice. Imagine yourself in the scene and invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Then take some time to share what stood out to you from the reading.
How do you currently incorporate scripture into your prayer life/ conversation with Jesus? Would you like to grow this area of conversation with the Lord? How?
Is there a key scripture that speaks to your heart about your identity in Jesus? Share this scripture with the group and how you were introduced to this scripture.
